On Monday May 27, 2019 Margaret (Camarda) DiLorenzo passed away peacefully in her sleep. Margaret grew up in Rutland, VT before moving to East Boston with her late husband Thomas DiLorenzo of East Boston. Margaret was the mother of Thomas Joseph DiLorenzo and John Thomas DiLorenzo. She was the grandmother of Thomas, Adam, Nicole and John Jr DiLorenzo. She was the great grandmother of Thomas, Christopher and Josh DiLorenzo. Margaret’s faith and love for the Lord Jesus Christ was the greatest testimony of her life. She was a wonderful cook and home maker. She enjoyed taking care of her family, and the love of her life Tom. Margaret and Tom met when they were 13 years old in the backyard of her aunt’s house on Ashley St. in East Boston. From the moment they met Tom told her he was going to marry her. Margaret told him he was crazy. Yet Tom was right! They were engaged at 18 years old before Tom went off to fight in WWII. They got married at 22 years old, settling in East Boston. They spent their lives together a part of the East Boston community. They parted at 90 after the passing of Tom in 2012. Tom and Margaret were proud lifelong members of Orient Heights Yacht Club, where they spent many years raising their children and grandchildren.

Friends and Family are welcome to join in a short prayer service for Margaret on Thursday, May 30th at Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street in REVERE at 8:00am. Interment will be private at Mass National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.

Johnny D and Nicole would like to thank everyone who has been an emotional support through Margaret’s decline in the last years of her life. Especially the elder care services of East Boston and Winthrop. The dedication of the staff, nurses, doctors, and admission has been tremendous. Thank you everyone for your prayers, love and support.

Tom & Margaret are together again ❤
