Obituary

Emil A. Pagliarulo, 91 years of age, of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away on May 13 after a brief illness. Son of the late Thomas and Mary (Zangara) Pagliarulo. Beloved husband of the late Pauline and Louise Pagliarulo. Loving and devoted father of Thomas Pagliarulo and his wife Jeanne of Beverly, and Anne Cobbett of Everett. Cherished grandfather of Thomas Pagliarulo and his wife Crystle of Georgia, and Nicholas Pagliarulo of Beverly. Adored great-grandfather of Mackenzie Pagliarulo. Brother of the late Dominic Pagliarulo and uncle of the late Stephen Pagliarulo.

Emil especially enjoyed spending time at his summer home in Maine, where he made many long-time friends. He was employed by Domino Sugar and Atlas Liquors for many years, working until the age of 87. He will miss and be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him, and especially by Troy Dolan and John Pantapas.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, services will be private. Messages of condolence to the family can be placed on our memory wall. The family would like to thank everyone for their support.

Emil will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

Words cannot express the sorrow felt by me and I am sure countless others upon the passing of our beloved friend Emil. In the 16 years I have known him he became someone who I grew to love, respect and admire. His love for his family and his sense of right and wrong were just 2 of his many admirable qualities. I am so fortunate to have called him my friend and to me he will always be a shining example of a life well lived. Rest In Peace my friend and Go Sox!!

Dear Tom,ANN and family
Words can not begin to express Lisa,Cassie and my feelings for your dad who I started to know back in 1975 when my dad bought the camp right next door to all of you. This started a wonderful relationship amongst two wonderful families who went through some good times and bad together and Emil was always there to help Bill and any body else that needed it. I can remember Emil always telling Bill to cover and have a Libation. I feel very grateful to have had the opportunity to have seen all of you in the last year up at the lake. May God watch over all of you in your time of need and bless you.

Love,
Greg,Lisa and Cassie Ball

I am going to miss my friend Emil. So grateful to have spent the many wonderful times together. Tues. night Pisa Pizza ; conversations in the beautiful yard ; roast beef sandwich's ; just going for a joy ride & remembering some great places. I admire Emil for his thoughtfulness ; kindness ; caring ways ; & always being a gentleman. I am honored to have known such a great man.
