Obituary for Eleanor F. "Alana" Ingram (Brogna)

Eleanor “Alana” (Brogna) Ingram of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away peacefully at the Lighthouse Nursing Facility.

Born in East Boston she was the daughter of the late Achille and Antoinette (Capone) Brogna. Alana was the beloved wife of the late Pledger Ingram and the late Rupert Bowen. She was the devoted mother of Rupert Bowen of Kittery, ME. Alana was the loving grandmother of Jill Vandewoude of Middleton and Shawn Bowen and Leigh Colangelo both of Ipswich. She had seven great-grandchildren. Alana was the dear sister of Al Brogna of Milton and Jackie DiCenzo of Foxboro and the late Carmella Mattei and Ethel Lombardi. She had 2 dear nieces, Helen Brogna of Canton and the late Jaqueline DiCenzo.

Family and friends will honor Alana’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. REVERE on Thursday, April 5th from 8:30AM to 10:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at the Immaculate Conception Church in Revere at 11:00AM.

Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Malden, MA.
